As a mum to my own two boys Charlie & Jura I know first hand how tricky it can be navigating in the mum jungle with so many opinons and advice, often all unwanted.
I know how as new parents we can feel so much pressure & judgement to be a certain type of parent, endlessly trying to ensure we are providing the perfect nutrition, perfect routine and perfect sleep……let me tell you that no such thing exists! As a breast feeding mum myself I STILL encountered comments and judgements, “I was feeding too much” or ” He is too old to still be feeding” or “I am making life harder for myself as I am the only one who can feed him” ….. very rarely do we hear words of uncouragement sadly.
The truth is that as long as we have a happy healthy baby and a happy healthy mum that is ALL that matters! Here at “Wee Sleepers” I know the right answer looks different for everyone and I am passionate about bringing honest, unbiased and supportive advice to parents.
My training as a sleep behaviouralist has given me an in-depth knowledge of the science behind sleep and all factors that can affect sleep in children and babies. Together we will look holistically at everything that can contribute to your childs sleep, from environment, to feeding, wake windows, development, behaviour and many more.
By listening to you and your family’s need, I aim to provide a service that inspires trust, makes you feel comfortable and at ease which ultimately gives you the skills to navigate any sleep challenges your Wee Sleepers have.
